Ecuador announces environmental, green taxes

The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, announced the next shipment of a tax reform bill to the National Assembly, which will include tax ‘green’ and adjustments to capital outflows.
“As soon as the process is finished (the project), send as urgent tax reform law, the taxes ‘green’, some adjustment to other taxes such as capital flight and a reform of land tax,” the president. Correa made the announcement at its audiovisual program on Saturday, after the legislature this week passed a bill that seeks to prevent monopolistic practices, also sent by the Executive.
