Ecuador: Ammunition seized, destined for FARC in Colombia

According to Eluniverso.com, police in Sucumbios seized 1500 cartriges – caliber 5.56 x 45. Police believed the the ammunition was headed for FARC in Colombia. The contraband was stored in a warehouse in a neighborhood of Nueva Loja along with three weapons. The investigation revealed that a member of the Ecuadorian Air Force was going to transport the munitions to Colombia. Read Article
