Drugs seized in Paraguay; Shipment bound for Brazil

Officials in Paraguay seized a drug shipment hidden in a vehicle along Route 7 in Ciudad del Este. 350 bricks of cocaine had been transferred from a gray Nissan vehicle to a white Scania truck, Color ABC reports. Authorities believe the shipment was ordered by a criminal gang operated by Tomas Rojas, alias “Toma’i”. Two suspects, Gilberto Domínguez and Celestino Godoy Sanabria, were arrested during the operation. The drug shipment was headed to Brazil. Read Article
