Drug Mule Detained with More than 2 Kilos of Cocaine in Chalicán, Argentina

Nuevo Diario reported on May 20, 2013 that a woman was arrested at a Chalicán bus stop with 2.535 kg of cocaine hidden on her person, after exhibiting suspicious behavior. Members of Squad 53 of the Jujuy Province stopped the bus on National Highway No. 34. The woman had bags of cocaine strapped to her calves and abdomen. A Jujuy federal judge ordered the arrest of the woman and the seizure of the cocaine. Although it is known that the bus departed from the city of Salvador Mazza and had stops in Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, and Córdoba, authorities are currently investigating the case to determine the intended final destination of the drugs.
