Dominican Republic: Student killed during tax protest march

The day of student protests in the Dominican Republic was in mourning Thursday after a college student died after being hit by a bullet fired by police. Willy Florian, 22 year old medical student, was shot in the chest and died on way to hospital bleeding. The tragedy took place in the Dominican capital of Santo Domingo, where police fired shots into the air and fired tear gas to disperse students protesting turn legislative reform to increase taxes.
