Dominican Republic: Series of Raids Leads to 28 Arrests and Drug Seizure

From Noticias Sin on June 7, 2013- The National Drug Control Administration, Public Ministry, and National Police of the Dominican Republic have detained 28 people today in relation to drug trafficking. The raids occurred in the cities of Santo Domingo Oeste and Pedro Brand. In addition to the arrests, authorities seized 929 grams of various drugs including heroin and crack. During the 30 raids, authorities also confiscated a shotgun, knives, and five scales for weighing drugs. Arrests were made in 20 of the 38 raids. Read Article
