Dominican Republic: Sergeant of National Police, two others arrested in drug bust

The National Drug Control of the Dominican Republic announced that three people riding in a Jeep were arrested with 12 packages of cocaine. According to El Nacional, one of the individuals apprehended was Sergio Bolívar Germán, Sergeant Major of the National Police. The two other suspects were identified as Marciano Segundo Peña and Héctor José Zorilla Germán. Their vehicle was finally stopped in Santo Domingo Este at the intersection of Charles de Gaulle and Ecológica streets after trying to flee.
