Cusco, Peru: Two Detained, More than Five Kilos of Cocaine Seized

From rpp.com on July 12, 2013- Police captured two people from Ayacucho in Cusco with more than 5.974 kilos of cocaine base hidden in a piece of wood in a backpack. The detainees are Cesar Escalante Huallpa, from Ayacucho and Eber Huaman Romero of Lima. The drug was to be smuggled from Ayacucho to Cusco for distribution in the Cusco, Puno, and onwards to Bolivia. Read Article
