Cusco, Peru: Police Rescue 5 Foreign Trafficking Victims

On August 15, 2013 Perú 21 Noticias reported the rescue of 5 foreign trafficking victims during a police operation in Cusco. The male victims, all from India, had been forced by a compatriot to work for the past year as food preparation workers at the San Pedro Hotel. The victims were unable to escape as the trafficker was in possession of their travel documentation. According to the victims, their goal now is to return to India. Read Article
