Cusco, Peru: Flights Resume at Airport, Some Delayed or Canceled

RPP.com.pe reports that today, July 1st flights resumed at the Alejandro Velasco Astete airport in Cusco as the rains stopped and weather conditions improved. Officials say that three Lan Peru flights landed with difficulty at the airport this morning during heavy rain. Peruvian Airlines cancelled their flights to Cusco today, while Star Peru and Taca delayed theirs, hoping that weather conditions would improve officials report. In the morning, about 800 Peruvians and foreigners were stranded in the main terminal in the Cusco airport. Read Article
