Cuban singer detained in Lima en route to Argentina, with fake Ecuador passport, ID

The lead vocalist for the salsa band ‘Rafael Barrera and his Mayimbe’, was arrested at the Jorge Chavez International Airport while attempting to travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina, with Ecuadorian fake passport and identity card. In his statement to the police, the singer Manuel Labarrera Rafael Montero (37) told the agents Callao DIVINCRI traveling to that country to sing along to the other members of the band at the opening of a nightclub in the country.
