Costa Rica: tourist boat assaulted by gunmen, passengers robbed of money and passports

eturbonews.com reported that in Tortuguero Costa Rica, a tourist boat carrying from 30 to 40 foreign tourists was assaulted by gunmen from a speed boat. The tourists were on their way to a hotel in Tortuguero when four armed from the speedboat. The assailants removed from the passengers cash and passports. Foreigners included Americans, Europeans, and Spaniards. A land and air search has been in progress but the thugs have not been apprehended.Read Article
