Costa Rica recommends against travel to Dominican Republic, due to chinkunguna virus outbreak

lainformacion.com reported the Ministry of health of Costa Rica today suggested to the Costa Rican avoid travel to Dominican Republic, due to the number of cases reported to the country of the chinkunguna virus.

“If a person does not have the need to go, it is better not to do it, it is a suggestion from the Ministry, but as there is an international health alert is not an official measure”, said EfE official epidemiological surveillance of the Ministry of health, Roberto Castro.

Dominican Republic reported an outbreak of the virus with thousands of suspected cases and at least three deaths, the latest report of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). Read Article
