Costa Rica: intense rains cause hundreds to be evacuated, two banana workers missing

Two workers in a banana plantation disappeared Sunday in Costa Rica, where the Red Cuz had evacuated hundreds of people affected by the flood of rivers after the rains that hit the country since Friday night. The most affected area is the province of Limon, the Caribbean, where several rivers overflowed and some communities were cut off after landslides that clogged the roads, said AFP chief of relief operations and the Red Cross, Jim Batres.
