Costa Rica: fourteen police officers accused of operating illegal gang

Five counts of aggravated robbery, abuse of authority in July, three drug trafficking, falsification 4, 5 illegal searches, 7 embezzlement and one offense of conspiracy are part of the charges for which is judged from yesterday to 14 policemen.

All are linked to a series of blows that apparently occurred in 2010 in Goicoechea and vicinity. According to the indictment read yesterday by prosecutors, it is a series of actions related to illicit drugs.
