Correa confirms that Spain offered radar after attack against the FARC – WIKILEAKS

The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, confirmed that Spain offered a radar in 2008 to control the border after Colombia’s attack on a FARC base in its territory, but on condition that coordinates with the Colombian armed forces, so rejected it.
The offer was disclosed today in a leaked cable from WikiLeaks to Ecuadorian newspaper “El Universo”. Read Article
