More than 20 Venezuelans injured by bus accident in Colta
eltelegrafo – reported: A traffic accident on a tourist bus was registered Monday afternoon at kilometer 5 of the Balbanera sector, in the Colta area, province of Chimborazo, reported the Integrated Security Service ECU 911. The alert was reported at 15:44. Three ambulances of the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), an ambulance and rescue unit of the Colta Fire Department, a Red Cross ambulance and units of the National Police were transferred to the site. The relief agencies confirmed that the injured vehicle belongs to the Rutas de América cooperative, which was overturned. It covered the route from Ipiales (Colombia) to Chiclayo (Peru). According to MSP staff, 29 were wounded, including 27 Venezuelan nationals and two Ecuadorians. The vehicular circulation was disabled while the emergency was taken care of.
