Colombian Drug Trafficker Arrested in Brazil

From lainformacion.com on June 3, 2013- According to Brazilian authorities, the Brazilian Federal Police arrested a Colombian citizen, who was convicted of drug trafficking in Colombia, while he was attempting to enter Brazil with a false passport. Although authorities did not release the name of the Colombian, Globo TV claimed it was Freddy Manco Torres, also known as “El Indio,” one of the kingpins of a paramilitary organization led by Daniel Rendón Herrera, also known as “Don Mario.” The suspect was arrested at the international airport in Rio De Janeiro after arriving on a flight from Spain. The arrest came after Colombian police alerted the Brazilian Federal Police. Read Article
