Colombia: Red Cross of Colombia admits internal armed conflict far from over

The head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Colombia, Jordi Raich, admitted that the internal armed conflict is far from over and that the proof is in the battles being waged in Cauca. Raich said in an interview with the newspaper El Tiempo that the internal war “is far from over and that’s what Toribio, Cauca, where the Army and Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) fight for a week-shows.” Read Article
