Colombia: Military seizes cache of explosives to be used in terrorist attacks by FARC

Military units located in the last hours a cache with abundant explosives, mines destroyed three high power and captured a person accused of murder, in development of offensive operations in the departments of Caquetá and Putumayo, according to miputumayo.com.co.

On the sidewalk Angura municipality of Puerto Asis, Putumayo, troops of the Southern Naval Force in joint operations with Jungle Battalion No.55 “Captain Oscar Giraldo Restrepo” Twenty Seventh Brigade of the National Army, seized pentolite 39 bars and two kilos of black powder.

The material, which was made available to the Judicial Police in the municipality of Puerto Asís, would be used by members of the FARC’s 48 squad to advance a series of terrorist attacks on the economic infrastructure of the department, civilian and law enforcement. Read Article
