Colombia: heroin ring dismantled, connection with Sinaloa cartel, moved 40 kilos a month

According counternarcotics police investigation, the gang sent drugs to the United States and the Netherlands. Counternarcotics director, General Luis Alberto Perez said that in total 37 people were arrested during the operation in Jamundi (Valley) and Riohacha (Guajira). The investigation began in 2010 on behalf of an organization’s information in Colombia who had business with the Sinaloa cartel. Moved more than 40 kilos of the drug monthly through couriers.
