Colombia: At least 11 Wiwas Indigenous members killed, dozen injured in lighting strike

At least eleven indigenous wiwas would have died immediately and other 13 injured as a result of lightning, product of a thunderstorm that fell right into a house where ethnic authorities advanced workshop to conserve natural resources. The incident occurred in the Kemakumake village, a five-hour walk from the village of Guachaca in rural area of Santa Marta, there were storms in the morning Monday. Read Article
