Colombia: Anonymous attacks at least 12 government website portals

The hacker group Anonymous attacked at least 12 Internet portals of government of Colombia to protest the law that seeks to regulate copyright and web browsing. V Aryans Internet portals of government and the Congress of Colombia were attacked today in actions claimed by the international organization of Anonymous hackers.

Among the sites attacked include the Senate (www.senado.gov.co) and the Ministry of Interior (www.mij.gov.co), and as confirmed Anonymous is at least 12 other sites hacked.

The organization, in a statement via Twitter, attributed the attacks to protest the government’s intention to Juan Manuel Santos to approve a law regulating copyright and Internet browsing. Read Article
