Colombia: 9000 judicial workers still not working despite labor aggreements

In Colombia, the judicial strike continues despite the agreement reached between the Government and the National Association of Professional Employees of the Judicial Branch.
Judicial Asonal president, Francisco Otálvara said Thursday at the 20 Hour program, nine thousand judges and prosecutors still unemployed looking to take advantage of recent negotiations with the Government to achieve favorable wages. “He wants to get the biggest slice of income equalization agreements recently signed with the state authorities, to the detriment of the other employees of the judicial branch,” added Otálvara.
