Cochabamba, Bolivia: Police Find Missing Teenager, Arrest Two Female Suspects

On July 12, 2013 Opinión Noticias reported the case of a 12 year old girl who went missing in Cochabamba on Tuesday, July 9. After her mother began searching for the teenager at her friends’ homes, she found out her daughter was being held captive at a residential home located in the southern part of the city. When the mother arrived at the house, she found her daughter along with four adults. The two male suspects fled while the two women, 17 and 20 years old, were later arrested by police. They are accused of corruption of a minor.

Police also found at the site empty liquor bottles and cans of Clefa brand glue. They believe the minor had been drugged for the purpose of sexual exploitation. The case remains under investigation. Read Article
