Clandestine drug laboratory found in Peru; Cocaine to be sent to Mexico

Police in Peru located a clandestine drug laboratory in a residence in San Martín de Porres. Inside, officials discovered 100 kilograms of cocaine and chemicals used for drug production. According to Peru 21, the home belonged to José Manuel López Quispe, alias ‘Papita,’ who kept the laboratory in an area under the floor. Authorities believe the cocaine was intended to be shipped from Chancay to Mexico on a boat. Anthony Valentierra of Venezuela and Carlos Martínez Castañeda of Colombia were also arrested during the operation. Read Article
