Cigarettes Cause 25,000 Deaths A Year in Colombia According to Senator

Caracol.com.co reveals that senator Dilian Francisca Toro supported the implementation of measures against cigarettes with the statement that 25,000 deaths a year are caused by 15 types of cancer caused by cigarettes in Colombia. She also expressed the necessity that children be kept away from cigarettes for the sake of their health. Currently, any venders performing retail sales of cigarettes are to be fined 1 to 100 minimum salaries and will have their health license suspended.
