Chile: road accident, possible radiation leak from nuclear densimeter

Posted on September 14, 2012 • Filed under: Chile, Enviromental Issues reported that mergency services in the region had to move last night to Route F-30E after the accident in the road that connects the towns of Puchuncaví and Quintero, left one dead and the possibility of radioactive contamination due to the destruction of a nuclear densimeter , which were used in the work carried out in the said route. The accident occurred around 21:00 pm, took the life of an employee of a contractor providing services to the Ministry of Public Works. Read Article
