Chief of Police, Santa Fe Argentina resigns after investigation shows ties to drug trafficking

The police chief of the province of Argentina Santa Fe , Hugo Tognoli commissioner, resigned after being involved in a court case that is investigating him for alleged links to drug trafficking, said the provincial security minister, Raul Lambert. Tognoli resigned following revelations that justice ordered his arrest for alleged payment of bribes to allow the sale of cocaine and for allegedly helping a drug lord to evade pursuit. Read Article
