Campesinos continue to try to slow development of oil expansion in Colombia

In the past year, the complaints of farmers living in the areas of oil exploration and production in Colombia has been increasing. They do not want their territory is invaded by oil infrastructure. The protests come at a worse time for the Colombian government. State coffers need a rapid injection of income, so they expected to receive extra money from the investment of ‘black gold’.
