Buenos Aires, Argentina: Sex Workers Protest for Rights

On July 30, 2013 Diario Inédito Noticias reported a recent protest by females members of the Association of Women Prostitutes (AMMAR) at the Plaza de la República. Around fifty sex workers in the city of Buenos Aires came together to raise awareness about their work, under the slogan “Sex work does not equal trafficking. They also condemned trafficking and the corruption of minors, as well as instances of battery, abuse and discrimination. Read Article
