Brazil: Investigations Commence for Illegal Flight Usage of Drones in Country

CBN.com.br reported on September 21, 2013 that the National Civil Aviation Agency is investigating three cases of irregular drone usage in the country. Only four civil models are allowed to operate which received certification to do so earlier this year. However, three states are reported to have conducted irregular flights. Reports reveal more than 200 drones have operated since March with no civil or commercial purpose. All drones must operate with a specific certificate.
