Brazil: Courts continue suspension of drilling activites for Chevron and Transocean Brazil

(Prensa Latina) The oil companies Chevron and Transocean Brazil Brazil continue today suspended and unable to participate in the work of extraction and transportation of oil in this country, due to two oil spills in the Frade field. This week, the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) agreed to maintain the suspension of all activities of the two companies for a period of 30 days, confirming the decision of the Federal Regional Court of the Second Region (TRF2), last July 31.
