Brazil and Peru Police Forces Close 8 Cocaine Laboratories

acritica.uol.com.br reported on September 20, 2013 that the Federal Police with the help of the Peruvian police closed eight cocaine-producing laboratories on Peruvian territory. The laboratories were 1 kilometer from the Brazilian border. One seizure involved confiscating 240 kilos of cocaine. In addition, the police seize 5,920 gallons of gasoline on a Peruvian vessel traveling along the Amazon River in Peru. Police believe the gasoline was used for the production of cocaine.
