Brazil and Mexico Negotiate to Unite State Oil Company Pemex and Petrobras

em.com.br reported on May 17, 2013, a bilateral meeting between Mexican Foreign Minister, Jose Antonio Meade and Brazilian Foreign Minister, Antonio Patriota. The meeting’s agenda is an attempt to promote the unity of state oil companies, Petrobras and Pemex. The two ministers agree that Brazil and Mexico share a high interest in expanding trade relations which is currently around US $10 billion a year.
