Bolivian Anti-Drug Operation Discovers Traffickers’ Workshop and Makes Arrests

From La Estrella del Oriente on June 18, 2013- Agents of the Special Force against Drug Trafficking (FELCN) led at least six operations that resulted in several arrests and the discovery of a workshop where luggage was being prepared to smuggle drugs. The workshop was discovered in Palmasola, and two people were detained during the operation, one Israeli and one Bolivian. The two were preparing the luggage to ship cocaine to Europe. In a different operation, authorities arrested a Spanish citizen at the Viru Viru Inernational Airport who had ingested 50 capsules full of drugs. The drugs were later removed in a hospital.
