Bolivia: Prosecutor investigating possible coup attempt by police

The District Attorney of La Paz reported that, pursuant to instructions issued by the Attorney General, opened a case to investigate a possible coup attempt led by police officers who participated in the riot that lasted from 21 to 27 June. “We and the prosecutor investigating, according to the instructions, the prosecutor assigned is Dr. Jose Ponce,” he told The reason the District Attorney Betty Yañíquez.
