Bogota Colombia: receives credit rating of BBB- by Standard and Poor’s

According to the document, the nation’s capital has a strong budgetary performance, moderate debt levels and adequate liquidity position. Financial management is predictable and has shown stability even with changes in government.

Thus, the rating agency affirmed its ratings of Bogotá, including the corporate credit rating of ‘BBB-‘. “We expect the budgetary performance of Bogota stays strong, that its liquidity position continues to positively comparing its financial obligations and debt levels remain moderate over the next two years, despite the projected increase, “the agency said.
