Bahia, Brazil: 20,000 Take the Streets to March Against Drug Use

otempo.com.br reported on August 10, 2013 that 20,000 people participated in the 2nd March Against Crack and Other Drugs initiated by the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais on August 9th. The goal of the event is to connect numerous social groups with the help of the government to combat drug use and help save lives of drug addicts. The National Alcohol Survey II reported that 1 million Brazilians are cocaine or crack addicts and the rehabilitation of users is 30%. Read Article
