Austria detains Mexican narco-trafficker wanted by U.S. DEA

Austrian officials detained a 43-year-old Mexican citizen, supposedly a member of a drug trafficking organization, that was wanted by the U.S. DEA. After receiving information that the suspect was in Austria, he was finally arrested in the Vienna airport, Excelsior reports. He was wanted for transporting large amounts of cocaine from South America to Central America. Austrian officials could not comment on how long the suspect was in the country, as they were not responsible for carrying out the investigation. Read Article
