Argentines travelling abroad only permitted to purchase currency of destination country

The Argentines who want to make tourism abroad will now have more restrictions because the government only allowed to buy the currency of the country of destination with a new measure that prohibits the acquisition virtually free dollars. The government of Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner began to restrict the acquisition of U.S. dollars last October in a bid to curb capital flight that hit hard the reserves of the Central Bank, which finances its debt payments.
