Argentina promotes Yerba Mate tea tourist route

The Institute of Tourist Promotion of Argentina (INPROTUR) today introduced a new and unique tourist product: the Route of the Yerba Mate, original itinerary that proposes an approach to the entire production chain linked to the popular drink, while the travel provinces of Corrientes and Misiones, on the coast of that country.
“Through this proposal, the traveler will know the process so characteristic of that product the idiosyncratic Argentina, and have the opportunity to live other experiences ranging from adventure tourism to the tasting of dishes prepared with local food mate, “said Leandro Boto, INPROTUR Executive Secretary, in introducing the initiative.
