Argentina: Italian Mafia Capo arrested, wanted by INTERPOL

lainormacion.com reported an Italian citizen accused of being a capo of the Calabrian mafia, known as Ndrangheta, and wanted by Interpol was arrested today in Puerto Iguazú, Misiones province (to 1,300 miles from Buenos Aires), sources of the national gendarmerie.

The detainee, identified as Pantaleone Mancuso, 47 years old, was caught when he tried to leave the country with a false document across the international bridge Tancredo Neves between Argentina and Brazil.

The arrest came when the staff of the National Directorate of migration (DNM) noticed irregularities in the document of the detainee and immediately gave notice to gendarmerie so he arrested him, sources of this force to the official Télam news agency. Read Article
