The 9-year-old daughter of retired Navy officer, Victor “Lindoro” Olivera, was shot last night and is in critical condition today after undergoing surgery, according to lavoz.com.ar. The girl was in her family’s home in Partido de Pilar, Buenos Aires at around 10 p.m. when the shootings occurred. Olivera was charged last year for torturing and killing political prisoners in the 80’s during the Dirty War dictatorship at the underground, ESMA detention center. He was held for a few months by the Court of Criminal Cassation last year and released before the Supreme Court had ordered his arrest. He fled and has been living as a fugitive.
