Argentina court of appeals rules that punishment for cultivation of marijuana for personal use

An appeals court in Argentina declared unconstitutional a rule that punishes marijuana cultivation for personal use, and dismissed a couple who had several plants and seeds in a nursery itself, said Wednesday the Judicial Information Center (ICJ).

Failure of the Second Division of the Federal Court of La Plata (60 km south of Buenos Aires) declared unconstitutional a paragraph of a law “that punishes anyone who sow or cultivate plants or storing seeds used to produce drugs for personal consumption “said the ICJ, the press organ of the Court.
