Arequipa Peru: Misti Volacano registering earthquakes, active

On Thursday of last week, the network of seismographs installed by the Geophysical Institute of Peru ( IGP ) in the cone of the Misti volcano , located 17 kilometers from the city of Arequipa , recorded the highest seismic activity in the five years of monitoring conducted in this range.

The engineer Orlando Macedo revealed that 224 earthquakes were registered, which is known as a swarm of earthquakes. El Misti is not asleep, is an active volcano. Read Article
