Arequipa, Peru: Authorities Find 10 Kilos of Cocaine Hidden in Wooden Frames

From Trome on June 20, 2013- An anti-drug police dog uncovered about ten kilos of cocaine base hidden within wooden frames in the Hunter district of Arequipa. The police arrested Rolando Lapa who was carrying a sack full of the frames in the 2nd block of Javier Pérez de Cuéllar Street, behind a bus stop. Lapa was taken immediately to the Drug Department headquarters. Authorities found 32 packages within the frames. The total weight of the drugs came to 9 kilos 470 grams. Read Article
