Man caught in Caracas, Venezuela airport; Attempted to fly to Italy with cocaine

An unidentified Venezuelan citizen, 29, was caught in the Caracas airport attempting to fly to Europe with 60 sacs of liquid cocaine. According to El Tiempo, the suspect had tried to board flight AZ-687 of the Alitalia airline on the Rome-Milan route. After the suspect had expelled the drugs, security officials determined the total weight of the drugs was one kilo, 20 grams. Whether the suspect had been working for a drug trafficking organization was not announced. Read Article
