After rains flooding train service resumes from Cusco – Machu Picchu Peru

Andina.com.pe reported in a statement the railway firm said it would reopen the route, and said weather conditions were adequate for the safe passage of trains. On Monday train service was suspended after water levels at the Urubamba River reached 675 cubic meters per second. At the time Ferrocarril Transandino said there were no damages to the railways, and said the suspension was being carried out for preventive purposes. Read Article
