700,000 Argentines stop smoking in the last three years

The growing encirclement of smokers seems to work. According to a survey conducted early in the country, 700,000 Argentines left the cigarette in the past three years. The data, which is known on the eve of the International Day of Clean Air, adds to a significant drop in the percentage of young people who start the habit. Governed the country since June 2011 law banning smoking in enclosed spaces, but in several provinces and municipalities, including the Federal Capital, the restrictions had begun even earlier.
